Philip Ricciardi is a Licensed Master Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with greater understanding, resilience, and confidence. He currently provides outpatient psychotherapy to adults through Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx and also works with New Alternatives for Children, supporting children with complex medical and behavioral health needs and their families.
Philip has experience working with a diverse range of clients across the lifespan and from various cultural, racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. He has supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, substance use concerns, grief, and serious mental illness. His approach recognizes that each person’s experiences, identities, and relationships shape how they understand themselves and interact with the world.
Philip’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine curiosity. He strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. We are in-network with Aetna, Oxford, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, 1199SUI. We also accept out of network benefits and will submit claims for our out of network clients. We also accept self-pay and can sometimes offer reduced rates.
Our office staff are happy to do the groundwork for you, and they will verify your benefits, submit your claims, and have any reimbursements paid directly to you.
