Kaylynn McCartney, LMSW is a Licensed Master Social Worker in New York and Connecticut who provides compassionate, culturally responsive care to adolescents and adults navigating life’s challenges. As a native New Yorker, she brings both a deep understanding of diverse communities and a grounded awareness of the complexities that come with living in fast-paced, high-demand environments.

Kaylynn has extensive experience working in child welfare, crisis intervention, and behavioral health leadership. She specializes in supporting individuals with emotional regulation, trauma recovery, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Her work also includes comprehensive assessments and helping clients build clarity and stability during times of stress and uncertainty.

Her clinical approach is integrative and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. Kaylynn utilizes evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based strategies, while also incorporating a strengths-based and family systems perspective. She is committed to helping clients develop practical coping skills, deepen self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change.

As a current doctoral student, Kaylynn remains engaged in ongoing learning and clinical development, ensuring that her work reflects the most up-to-date research and effective therapeutic approaches.

We are in-network with Aetna, Oxford, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, 1199SUI. We also accept out of network benefits and will submit claims for our out of network clients. We also accept self-pay and can sometimes offer reduced rates.

Our office staff are happy to do the groundwork for you, and they will verify your benefits, submit your claims, and have any reimbursements paid directly to you.
