Cindy Bressendorff is a compassionate and dedicated therapist committed to supporting individuals in achieving emotional wellness and personal growth. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Excelsior College and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Play Therapy from Capella University.

Cindy works with individuals across the lifespan and is experienced in supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including varying ages, genders, and cultural identities. She understands that life can present challenges that feel overwhelming and believes that no one should have to navigate those difficulties alone.

Her therapeutic approach is integrative, client-centered, and strengths-based. Cindy incorporates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Exposure Therapy, and Play Therapy techniques, including sand tray, to support clients in expressing themselves, processing experiences, and developing effective coping strategies.

She works collaboratively with clients to help them gain insight, build resilience, and move toward meaningful, goal-oriented change.

We are in-network with Aetna, Oxford, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, 1199SUI. We also accept out of network benefits and will submit claims for our out of network clients. We also accept self-pay and can sometimes offer reduced rates.

Our office staff are happy to do the groundwork for you, and they will verify your benefits, submit your claims, and have any reimbursements paid directly to you.
