Daniel Gomes is a mental health professional dedicated to supporting adolescents, adults, and older adults as they navigate life’s challenges with compassion, respect, and practical guidance. He believes that healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and a genuine understanding of each person’s unique experiences.

Daniel works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, schizophrenia and other serious mental health conditions, life transitions, emotional distress, and co-occurring mental health challenges. He also supports clients facing family conflict, housing instability, medical concerns, and barriers to accessing community resources. His goal is to help clients build resilience, improve daily functioning, and create meaningful, lasting change.

His therapeutic approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. Daniel integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed interventions, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and evidence-based supportive counseling to help clients strengthen coping skills, increase emotional regulation, clarify personal goals, and move toward greater stability and overall well-being.

In addition to providing psychotherapy, Daniel has extensive experience in case management, care coordination, crisis intervention, patient advocacy, and connecting individuals with community resources. His holistic approach recognizes that emotional wellness is closely connected to practical support, allowing him to address both the psychological and everyday challenges that impact a person’s quality of life.

We are in-network with Aetna, Oxford, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, 1199SUI. We also accept out of network benefits and will submit claims for our out of network clients. We also accept self-pay and can sometimes offer reduced rates.

Our office staff are happy to do the groundwork for you, and they will verify your benefits, submit your claims, and have any reimbursements paid directly to you.
