Moises Angustia is a compassionate and dedicated mental health counselor with over two decades of experience supporting high-risk families and underserved youth in the foster care system. He brings a unique blend of clinical expertise, cultural humility, and spiritual grounding to his work, offering trauma-informed, culturally responsive care to children, adolescents, and families.

Moises holds dual master’s degrees in General and Special Education from Touro University and in Mental Health Counseling from Alfred University. He is currently licensed as a Mental Health Counselor under a Limited Permit in the state of New York. His professional journey reflects a deep commitment to holistic care, shaped by years of leadership in casework, supervision, and community engagement. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Moises provides bilingual services that honor the diverse cultural and spiritual backgrounds of his clients. He integrates his faith-based values with evidence-based practices, creating a safe and empowering space for healing and transformation. In addition to his clinical work, Moises serves as an ordained overseer and faith leader, extending his dedication to service beyond the therapy room.

Moises is also a proud husband and father of three, as well as a devoted dog dad. We are in-network with Aetna, Oxford, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, 1199SUI. We also accept out of network benefits and will submit claims for our out of network clients. We also accept self-pay and can sometimes offer reduced rates.

Our office staff are happy to do the groundwork for you, and they will verify your benefits, submit your claims, and have any reimbursements paid directly to you.
