Joyce Fordjour is a compassionate and dedicated therapist with over seven years of experience. She enjoys providing individual, couples, and family therapy. She is deeply committed to helping clients navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful growth by fostering a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, empathy, and collaboration.

After earning her degree in Social Work from Long Island University (LIU), Joyce began her career in community mental health clinics, where she honed her skills in counseling, crisis intervention, evidence-based treatment ppl and case management. Over the years, she has worked with diverse populations—including adolescents, adults, couples, and families—helping them to address a wide range of emotional, relational, and psychological challenges.

Joyce integrates evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) into her practice, tailoring her methods to meet the unique needs of each client. Her non-judgmental, client-centered approach ensures that everyone she works with feels seen, heard, and supported. What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

We are in-network with Aetna, Oxford, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, 1199SUI. We also accept out of network benefits and will submit claims for our out of network clients. We also accept self-pay and can sometimes offer reduced rates.

Our office staff are happy to do the groundwork for you, and they will verify your benefits, submit your claims, and have any reimbursements paid directly to you.
